Love your post here….I agree with u on the PR and Chris point.
This was a great PR piece for Rihanna. She looked the part, sounded great and made her look good after the interview. She looked so good that Brown had to do an interview.

They really love each other but as Rihanna said they were dangerous too.

I agree. Many parents live out their dreams through their children, which is sure to cause the child to live a troubled life. Look at Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. They are good examples of parents who went too far and chose to managing their child’s career over being a mother or father.

I heart Tinkerbell. I just think that Disney is finally giving her the spotlight & letting her come into her own. In the last Tinkerbell DVD release, we got to see how Tinkerbell was created. We saw her hair down to her shoulders & a beautiful white dress before she became a “Tinker” & now that she’s leaving Pixie Hollow, we get to see another transformation as her character evolves even more. I like her little shawl top & boots lol Go Tink!

Reality shows, pageant moms, modeling, acting…. There are a lot of ways that parents exploit their children for their own selfish reasons. Not all parents, but there are many that have gained entry into the entertainment industry riding on their child’s coat tails. There’s a fine line between the parents desires and the child’s actual desires. Children like the Gosselins seem happy with being on camera because their parents have sold the idea to them that its such a great experience, making them believe whatever is being said to them. The same with “balloon boy”, I’m sure his dad made him believe that lying and hiding in an attic while people were wasting their time searching for him was a great idea. Parents stop brainwashing your children, let them live their own lives and think for themselves.

Folks really want celebrity. It seems like that’s the easy way out for parents who aren’t doing so hot in their regular lives. It is the parents fault. They are the ones who influence the babies and since they’re the ones in charge, they should be held accountable for anything they do in damaging these kids reputations.

This was an incredible look at what its like to be caught up in the merry-go-round and how quickly things can turn for worse. Does fame really take u to the edge to the point where u could end it all to escape it? its funny we as entertainers work so hard to become household names not knowing the many pitfalls that wait for u. Everything that the average person wishes for (i.e. women, money, etc) are at your fingertips but at what cost? Great film, great post…
